You look at where you’re going and where you are and it never makes sense, but then you look back at where you’ve been and a pattern seems to emerge

Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance

Today is the day I got the news that I have been so longing to hear since the the beginning of this year…well, in truth, the beginning of last year! Haha!

It has been a long 400 days of waiting. But today the DVLA confirmed that all of my documentation had been processed and confirmed. My licence is being re-issued! I should have it (fingers crossed) by the end of the week – or at the latest the beginning of next week.

As you can imagine, I was elated! I was on the phone calling the team and family. I was bouncing off the walls with excitement. However, I was home alone. So, once the calls and messages were done, I sat down and to my complete surprise I just started crying! I guess it all hit home. I made it. I was on the other side. The thing that I have wanted back was finally on its way.

I would like to thank the MAPPED/FA community for all their kind messages of support over the last year, very humbled by it all. Makes me proud to be apart of the motorcycling community. I would also like to thank my family and friends, the true heroes, for giving me no end of support through my lowest moments. I can not begin to thank you.

So, Team MAPPED/FA and 2019. It will be a great year! We have some great plans and we can not wait to get back out on the road and share more adventures with you all!

Now, lets get planning for that first ride…
